Bogus Basin has remained the steady heart of outdoor recreation for the Treasure Valley since 1942 thanks to the community’s support through season pass purchases, donations, and contributions during special giving events – including the Bogus Bash Online Auction.

Things to do
Ski & Snowboard
Enjoy winter from the mountains! Bogus Basin is a non-profit mountain recreation area located just 16 miles from the Treasure Valley. During the regular operating season, guests can ski or snowboard at Bogus Basin from 9 am to 9 pm (10 pm on Fridays and Saturdays). Purchase tickets online in advance, and head to the slopes!
Snowshoeing
Take to the trails for a beautiful snowshoe adventure at Bogus Basin! All snowshoe trails begin and end at the Frontier Point Nordic Lodge. Check out FREE Guided Snowshoe Tours with local experts happening throughout the winter season.
Snow Tubing
Feel the thrill on the Bogus Basin Tubing Hill this winter! This 800 foot long tubing hill is sure to get you and your crew screaming for joy. Book the entire tubing hill for a business event, birthday celebration, or special family occasion!
Nordic Skiing
In addition to alpine skiing and snowboarding, Bogus Basin is home to an expansive array of Nordic skiing and snowshoeing trails for you to discover! With over X km of trails to explore, you’re going to want to add a day on the Frontier Point Nordic Trail System to your winter bucket list!
