Refunds
SEASON PASSES
Refunds are based on restricted conditions. Those conditions include medical conditions (injury, surgery, pregnancy) or relocation from the Treasure Valley. All refunds require documentation, i.e. a letter from a physician, proof of relocation, a copy of transfer papers, or a letter explaining your request (see additional information below). In addition to the above documentation, the season pass needs to be returned if it was issued and we need to know how the refund should be processed.
Amount of refund depends on specific date(s) of medical condition, date of relocation, date on transfer papers, or date on letter explaining request.
Three (3) Refund Options
1. Refund to a credit/debit card (1-2 week process)--please include card number and expiration date with documentation
2. Refund by a check (4-6 week process)--please include name and mailing address with documentation
3. Refund to a Bogus Basin gift card (1-2 week process)--held at the downtown sales lobby on "will-call"
Additional Information
* Bogus Basin's fiscal year is June 1 - May 31. Any refund requests made outside of the fiscal year will not be accepted. (For example, if you are requesting a refund for a season pass that expires in April 2006, then the request has to be made before May 31, 2006. A request made after May 31, 2006 would be denied.)
* Bogus Basin gift cards can be applied to any Bogus Basin service and expire within 5 years from date of issue.
* Documentation of a "letter explaining a refund request" only receives a Bogus Basin gift card. No cash back. These requests are refunded on a case-by-case basis. Not all requests will be processed.
* Child passes are non-refundable once it has been issued.
* College student season passes (purchased at the $229 rate anytime) are non-refundable if the student relocates.
* Family passes are subject to a different refund process based on the number of members in the family and their ages.
* Any refund due to a medical condition is for that individual only. The refund does not extend to family members.
* Season passes are non-refundable for adjustments to hours and days of operation based on snow conditions and/or skier visits.
* Season passes are not "rolled over" or "transferred" from one season to another.
* There is no refund for a "Passport" season pass.
Documentation can be faxed to 208-332-5102, delivered or mailed to 2600 Bogus Basin Rd. Boise, ID 83702. (ATTN: Sales office)

I Forgot My Pass
Season pass holders are allowed one "I Forgot My Pass" ticket throughout the season. If the pass is forgotten additional times, then the pass holder will be required to pay the full price of a lift ticket. Please see "Season Pass Fraud" below.
Replacement Pass
Season pass holders are allowed one "Replacement" season pass for a fee of $25.00. If the pass is lost a second time, then the pass holder may re-purchase a season pass at the original purchase price. This policy also pertains to passes "lost in the mail" when the pass was requested to be mailed. Please see "Pass Fraud" below.
Season Pass Fraud
In the event you lose your season pass due to the improper use as outlined by the "IFMP" (I Forgot My Pass) notice or the replacement season pass notice you were required to sign when you obtained the "IFMP" ticket or replacement season pass, then you have two options:
1. Forfeit the pass for the remainder of the season.
a. This season pass is null and void because it was used in a fraudulent manner.
b. You are allowed to purchase daily lift tickets.
c. You are allowed to purchase next year's pass during a "spring" sale, but you are NOT allowed to pick it up until next season. You have lost all season pass privileges for the current season.
2. Purchase another pass for the remainder of the season.
a. This is a full-price (Dec. 1 rate) season pass with NO discounts.
b. Your privileges have been re-instated for the current season.
c. You are allowed this option only one (1) time during a season. A second violation will result in immediate prosecution.
The Bogus Basin season pass is revocable under the laws of the State of Idaho and is revocable at the sole discretion of Bogus Basin Mountain.
Violation of any federal, state, or local law while on Bogus Basin property will result in season pass cancellation without refund.
