Mountain Parking & Shuttles

On weekends and holidays, you are encouraged to check our website snow report page for the "parking meter" (parking availability) or call the snowphone at 342-2100 for updated parking lot capacity and information. Below is information about locating parking lots and hints for finding a spot.

Shuttle Service:

Free shuttles loop through the main parking lot from the skier pick-up/drop-off area near the J.R.Simplot Lodge, past the GoldRush Tubing Hill to Nordic Center approximately every 20-minutes. 

Carpooling:

Carpooling is encouraged for environmental as well as practical reasons (mountain parking spots are limited, especially on weekends!) Please use Bogus Basin's FREE Park & Ride lot at 11th & Bannock.  Do NOT park for more than 2 hours in the Highlands Village parking lot or your car will be towed.

Find other skiers and riders who are interested in carpooling to Bogus Basin through RideShareOnline, a service of ACHD and Commuteride.

We encourage our guests with equipment to use the “SKI IN SKI OUT” parking lots.

BOGUS CREEK LOT # 1
  • First parking lot to fill up in the morning.
  • Shuttle service available on weekends and holidays
  • Starts to turnover around noon.
  • If you have your own equipment and can ski in & out suggestions are Bogus Creek Lot # 4, Buttercup parking lot and Silver Queen Pioneer parking lot #4.

BOGUS CREEK LOT # 2
  • Fills up early morning due to employee parking.
  • Turnover is minimal

BOGUS CREEK LOT # 3 (FRONTIER POINT NORDIC LODGE)
Fills up in late morning
Shuttle service is available weekends and holidays
Turnover starts early afternoon
Best for GoldRush tubing guest

BOGUS CREEK LOT # 4
  • Ski in Ski out parking lot.
  • Great view of valley off west end of parking lot
  • 4WD or all WD advisable to get up hill on certain days
  • From the bottom of the Pioneer road the entrance is quarter mile up on the right.
  • Skier access to ski lifts is to the right as you enter parking lot. To return to Bogus Creek Lot #4: Access is on skier’s right of Silver Queen ski run top
  • quarter of run.
  • Silver Queen is a green ski run for access to parking lot

BUTTERCUP PARKING LOT
  • Ski in Ski out parking lot.
  • Great view of valley
  • From the bottom of the Pioneer road the entrance to the parking lot is three quarters of a mile up the road on the left.
  • Out house available
  • Next to Bitterroot chairlift # 5
  • Access to Buttercup parking lot limited due to closure of chair #5 at 4:30 pm
  • Open weekends and holidays ONLY!
  • Good spot for school race spectators!

PIONEER CONDO PARKING LOT
  • Dedicated parking for guests of the Pioneer Inn

PIONEER PARKING LOT #1
  • Full in early morning
  • Next to Pioneer Lodge Ski in Ski out

PIONEER PARKING LOT #2
  • Full in early morning
  • Next to Pioneer Lodge Ski in Ski out

PIONEER PARKING LOT #3
  • Small perpendicular parking lot on edge of Pioneer Road. Used mainly for overflow parking

PIONEER PARKING LOT #4 (Silver Queen)
  • Ski in Ski out parking lot.
  • Access is across Pioneer Road onto Silver Queen run which is a green run.
  • Access is also to the right as you enter the parking lot all the way down on West end. Chairlift #5 Bitterroot is the access chair. Weekends and holidays
  • ONLY for Bitterroot.
  • Good spot for school race spectators!
  • Also great views of the valley from here!
