We strive to provide the finest quality foods available, at the best price, along with a wonderfully unique location to complement the importance of your event. Catering is available for all functions throughout the year. Our Banquet Chef offers delightful selections, ranging from delicious theme buffets to out-door western barbecues. Our Catering Coordinator will assist you with creating a menu as well as desired décor, set-up, and services to meet your expectations.

Upon agreeing to hold your function at Bogus Basin, you will receive separate contracts that:

  1. Commit facilities, grounds, and dates for your event (Group Services Confirmation Agreement)
  2. Itemize and describe food, beverage, and requested services (Food and Beverage/Catering Contract)

The following policies will be in effect upon a signed contractual agreement:

Catering

Bogus Basin Mountain Recreation Area requires that all food and beverage items consumed on Bogus Basin properties, must be purchased through our Catering Department. Exceptions can be made with the rental of the Frontier Point Lodge and/or with limited facility rentals of the other lodges. A signed Food & Beverage Catering Contract will be required no less than 30 days prior to the event to allow for coordination of the menu. All menu prices are per person (unless otherwise noted), and do not include applicable sales tax (6%), or gratuity (17%).

Bogus Basin prepares for the guaranteed number of guests requiring the contracted services. Should fewer than the contracted number arrive, you will still be billed for the original amount. Should more than the guaranteed number be served, you will be billed additionally, at the agreed amount per person. However, as these events are custom designed for your group, Bogus Basin cannot guarantee that there will be enough food or beverage to serve an additional number of guests.

NOTE: The 17% gratuity applies to all food and beverage items and is taxable according to Idaho State Tax Commission, rule 043.04. State sales tax (6%) will be added to all facility and other rental fees.
