5th Grade FREE Passport

The 5th Grade Free Passport Program offers FREE skiing and/or snowboarding to every 5th grader in the State of Idaho. The program involves thousands of Idaho families, schools, and the snowsports industry. The 5th grade ski free passport opens doors to healthy fun, helping kids and their families enjoy our state's fantastic winter season.

In addition participating ski areas may offer free or discounted lessons and rentals for 5th graders. Some areas also offer parents and siblings discounted lessons. Once you receive your passport you will see each ski area’s information page for the ski area’s discount details.

How it works: Click on the logo on the left hand side of this page for a link to the website, then follow their directions for downloading an application.
Fill out and send in the application with a phot and you receive your passport in about 2 weeks.

The 5th grader takes the passport to the ski area and receives a FREE LIFT ticket - 3 times at each of the participating Idaho Ski Area.

Bogus Basin 5th Grade Passport Program:

3 times FREE for the 5th grader (with their passport)
FREE day/night Alpine lift ticket
50% off group walk-in lesson at 12:30pm only (check in at the Ski/Board School Sales office 1 hour early, on the mountain)
50% off rental equipment at Black Diamond Sports, when combined with lessons

Restrictions: offer cannot be combined with School Night, LifeSports or other Bogus Basin Ski/Board Programs.
